Nothing says Maui like a Mai Tai at sunset on our Lanai.
Our house recipé, the result of extensive research and more than a few bar crawls, is a closely guarded secret.
The Mai Tai invented in 1944 at the famed Trader Vic's Polynesian Bar was named “Mai Tai...Roe Ae!"” (Tahitian for “Out of This World...The Best!”) by a Tahitian Wahine who was among the first to taste it.
So if you can, enjoy one on our lanai!
Or try this one at home:
  • 1/2 ounce Orgeat (Almond Syrup)
  • 1/2 ounce Orange Curacao
  • 1 ounce Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Rum
  • Orange & Pineapple Juice to taste
